Frequently asked questions

How does a premium pocket tee fit compared to a regular t-shirt?

The t-shirt runs true to size, but is a fitted classic t-shirt. If you prefer a there shirt to fit a looser, we suggest sizing up.

If you love our Premium Tee, it fits identical to that.

Will a 100% cotton t-shirt shrink?

No. Every tee is sewn first, then dyed as a finished shirt at 180°F in industrial machines. Your home washer tops out around 110°F. By the time it reaches you it has already been through hotter conditions than any laundry cycle will put it through. That's why we say zero shrink instead of pre-shrunk. If you ever get one that shrinks, email me. I want to see it.

How do I wash a 100% cotton pocket tee to prevent shrinking?

You don't have to do anything special. Wash a garment dyed cotton tee like a normal shirt. Machine wash warm or cold, tumble dry low or medium.

Most 100% cotton tees need cold water and a delicate cycle because they were dyed as flat fabric and never saw heat as a finished shirt. Ours are sewn first, then dyed at 180°F as a complete garment. Your home washer tops out around 110°F, so the shrinking already happened before the shirt left the dye house. There's nothing left for your laundry to do to it.

Two things that do matter. Turn it inside out to keep the color rich for as long as possible. And skip detergent pods. If a pod doesn't fully dissolve, the concentrated detergent sits against the fabric and can leave light spots or streaks on a garment dyed shirt. Liquid or powder is the safer bet. Both wash clean.

What makes a t-shirt "premium"?

Three things, and none of them are marketing.

The fabric. 100% cotton at 210 GSM, a real everyday weight. No polyester, nothing slick or stretchy, nothing that pills after a month.

The dye. Most tees are dyed as flat fabric, then cut and sewn. Ours are sewn first, then the finished shirt goes into the dye at 180°F. It comes out pre-shrunk with color that's in the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. Out of the bag it feels a little more structured than a shirt you've washed a hundred times. Give it two or three washes and it opens up, and it keeps getting softer from there.

Where it's made. Every shirt is sewn, dyed, finished and checked in America. The label is screen printed inside the collar, so there's nothing scratching your neck.

How long will a premium cotton t-shirt last?

With proper care, a premium cotton t-shirt should last 3-5 years or longer.

Our tees are built for longevity. The garment-dye and pre-shrink process at 180°F locks in the fit, so your shirt won't stretch out or shrink unevenly over time. The heavier fabric weight (210-300 GSM) resists thinning, holes, and wear better than budget tees that typically fade and fall apart within 6-12 months.

To maximize lifespan: wash cold, tumble dry low or air dry, and turn inside out. The better you care for it, the longer it lasts and 100% cotton actually gets softer with age.
